"My son and I have been fortunate to walk with Gordon several times over the last few years. It makes an immense difference to me to be able to relax and simply enjoy the magnificent scenery, knowing that we are in such safe hands. Gordon knows the hills of the Lake District like the palm of his hand. His routes are carefully thought out, full of variety and his gentle commentary about the history of the area brings the landscape alive in a wonderful way. He is truly a walking encyclopaedia, from ancient history to current issues facing the Lakes. I cannot recommend him highly enough as a companion and guide". ~ Penelope (UK)
